NewLimit, a San Francisco-based biotech startup founded by Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong focused on extending healthy human lifespan through cellular reprogramming, raised $130M in a Series B round led by Kleiner Perkins. The round included participation from Nat Friedman, Daniel Gross, Khosla Ventures, and existing backers such as Founders Fund, Dimension Capital, and Elad Gil.
Rentana, a NYC-based AI-driven revenue intelligence platform for multifamily owners and operators, closed a nearly $5m seed funding round. The round was led by Zigg Capital and Benchstrength.
Onebeat, a NYC-based provider of a dynamic inventory optimization and execution platform, raised additional $15M in funding. The round, which brought the total amount to $30M, was led by Schooner Capital with participation from Magenta Venture Partners, Surround Ventures, AnD Ventures, J-Ventures, and INcapital Ventures.
Simcoach Games, a Pittsburgh, PA-based health tech company specializing in gamified skill-building tools for individuals with behavioral disabilities, raised $265K in Seed funding. The round was led by Richard King Mellon Foundation.
Tesseral, a San Francisco, CA-based authentication infrastructure for B2B software companies, raised $3.3M in Seed funding. Backers included Y Combinator, Jessica Livingston and Paul Graham, co-founders of Y Combinator, Calvin French-Owen, co-founder and former CTO of Segment, Steve Bartel and Nick Bushak, co-founders of Gem, and Mike Wiacek, founder of Stairwell.
Parloa, a Berlin, Germany-based company which specializes in Agentic AI for customer experience, raised $120M in Series C funding, at $1 Billion valuation. The round was led by Durable Capital Partners, Altimeter Capital, and General Catalyst with participation from EQT Ventures, RPT Capital, Senovo, and Mosaic Ventures.
Orca AI, a London, UK-based maritime technology company, raised $72.5M in Series B funding. The round was led by Brighton Park Capital with participation from existing investors Ankona Capital and Hyperlink Ventures.
Posha (fka Nymble), a San Francisco, CA-based food technology company providing an AI-driven kitchen robot, raised $8M in Series A funding. The round was led by Accel, with participation from existing investors, Xeed Ventures, Waterbridge Ventures, Binny Bansal (co-founder, Flipkart), Asha Jadeja Motwani, Samay Kohli and Akash Gupta (founders, GreyOrange).
Relevance AI, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of an AI agent operating system, raised $24M in Series B funding. The round was led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from returning investors King River Capital, Insight Partners, and Peak XV.
AppSignal, an Amsterdam, the Netherlands- and Austin, TX-based company that gives developers with actionable insights into their applications, raised $22M in Series A Funding. The round was led by Elsewhere Partners.
Recraft, a London, UK-based developer of an AI-powered design platform providing image generation with brand consistency, raised $30M in Series B funding The round led by Accel with participation from Madrona Ventures, and existing investors Khosla Ventures, Nat Friedman, Elad Gil and RTP Global.
ReportAId, a Milan, Italy-based company using AI to optimize healthcare processes, raised €2.2M in Pre-Seed funding. The round was led by Italian Founders Fund with participation from Heartfelt, Exceptional Ventures, 2100 Ventures, Vento, Ithaca, B Heroes, Vesper Holding, and angel investors Luca Ascani, Enrico Giacomelli, Francesco Zaccariello and Luca Foschini.
Hotiday, a Milan, Italy-based traveltech startup, raised €5.5M in funding. The round was led by P101 SGR with participation from 40Jemz and angel investors.
StackOne, a London, UK-based provider of an AI-powered platform for AI agents and SaaS integrations, raised $20M in Series A funding. The round, which brought the total amount to $24M, was led by GV (Google Ventures), with participation from Workday Ventures, XTX Ventures, Episode 1, Playfair, and angels from OpenAI, Deepmind, Microsoft and Mulesoft.
RightRev, a Roseville, CA-based company which specializes in automated revenue management, raised $13M in Series A funding. The round, which brought the total amount to over $31M, was co-led by Cheyenne Ventures and Innovius Capital, with participation from repeat investors, including Norwest Venture Partners, Salesforce Ventures and Snowflake Ventures.
Nuevocor, a Singapore-based IND-stage biotechnology company developing cures for cardiomyopathies, raised US$45M in Series B funding. The round was led by Kurma Partners and Angelini Ventures, with participation from existing investors EDBI, ClavystBio and Boehringer Ingelheim Venture Fund, alongside Highlight Capital and SEEDS Capital.
Hostie, a San Francisco, CA-based AI customer experience platform for restaurants, raised $4m in seed funding. The round led by Gradient Ventures, with participation from Burst Capital, Behind Genius Ventures, and Daring Ventures, Thomas Layton (former CEO of OpenTable), Mike Dodson (former SVP of Sales at OpenTable), and Michael Stoppelman (former SVP of Engineering at Yelp).

Revent, a Berlin-based VC focused on “planetary and societal health,” has closed a €100M ($109M) Fund II to back climate, healthcare, and economic empowerment startups. Backers include Otto Group, Beiersdorf, and the European Investment Fund. Revent has invested in 26 startups to date and sees growing interest in mission-driven, performance-focused tech across Europe.

Hugging Face releases a free Operator-like agentic AI tool:
Hugging Face has launched Open Computer Agent, a free cloud-hosted AI agent that operates a Linux VM and can perform simple computer tasks via apps like Firefox.
The tool mimics OpenAI’s Operator but struggles with complex tasks and CAPTCHAs, and users must wait in a virtual queue depending on demand.
Though limited, the tool aims to showcase the growing capability of open-source AI agents, which are attracting enterprise interest and projected to reach $52.6B in market size by 2030.
Google debuts an updated Gemini 2.5 Pro AI model ahead of I/O:
Google has released Gemini 2.5 Pro Preview (I/O edition), an upgraded AI model now available in the Gemini API, Vertex AI, AI Studio, and Gemini chatbot app.
The model improves coding capabilities, especially in web app development, code editing, and transformation, and now leads the WebDev Arena benchmark.
It also scores state-of-the-art results in video understanding and incorporates developer feedback to reduce function call errors and improve trigger accuracy.
Eric Schmidt-backed FutureHouse launches Finch, an AI tool for biology research:
FutureHouse has released Finch, an AI tool that analyzes biology data and generates figures based on prompts, likened to a "first-year grad student" in terms of capability.
Finch is part of FutureHouse’s broader mission to build an “AI scientist,” though it hasn’t yet contributed to any major scientific discoveries.
The tool, currently in closed beta, still makes basic mistakes, prompting FutureHouse to recruit experts to improve its accuracy and reliability.
Waymo ramps up robotaxi production:
Waymo is boosting its robotaxi manufacturing, planning to add over 2,000 more self-driving I-PACE vehicles to its operational fleet by the end of next year.
The company collaborates with Magna to incorporate its autonomous driving system into Jaguar I-PACE models at their joint production facility located in Mesa, Arizona.
Currently, the organization's 1,500 driverless cars provide over 250,000 paid trips weekly, with ambitions to launch services in several new cities within the next year.
Fiverr CEO warns staff: 'AI is coming for your jobs, including mine!':
Fiverr CEO Micha Kaufman informed his staff that artificial intelligence is poised to disrupt numerous jobs across industries, including his own executive role, in a widely circulated internal email.
He stressed this development is a global transformation affecting every company, identifying professions like programmers, designers, and customer support as particularly vulnerable to automation's accelerating impact.
Kaufman encouraged employees to embrace AI tools, learn new competencies, and revise productivity definitions, suggesting traditional search is becoming obsolete without prompt engineering skills.
OpenAI to reduce Microsoft revenue share after restructuring, report says:
OpenAI plans to cut Microsoft’s share of its revenue from 20% to 10% by 2030, according to investor documents cited by The Information.
The change follows OpenAI's decision to maintain nonprofit control, reducing CEO Sam Altman’s authority in the restructuring.
Microsoft still seeks long-term access to OpenAI’s tech, despite recent adjustments in their partnership and joint ventures in AI infrastructure.

DoorDash to acquire Deliveroo for $3.9B, expands global reach:
DoorDash will acquire U.K.-based Deliveroo in a $3.85 billion deal, offering 180 pence per share; Deliveroo’s board has recommended the offer.
The acquisition expands DoorDash’s presence in Europe, particularly in the U.K. and Ireland, and adds Deliveroo’s 7M monthly users to its 42M global base.
DoorDash also announced a $1.2 billion acquisition of hospitality software firm SevenRooms and forecast Q2 earnings of $600M–$650M in adjusted EBITDA.
